Smash those files and transfer them fast
File sharing is extremely useful in this day and age, as everything from personal hobbies to important work involves some kind of sharing of information. When you need to send a few PDFs files, music or even a set of images, a simple email is rarely sufficient, thanks to attachment limitations. Smash is a new free service for sharing a file with friends or colleagues, plus it aims to make the experience more fun.
Free file transfers without registration
Smash works in much the same way as Dropbox and certain other cloud services. You drag your file onto the Smash site, which generates a link for you to give to someone else, who can then download that file. However, this site has a lot of plus points that make it more noteworthy. The user interface is simply a big, red screen, though it may annoy those who don’t like big blocks of colour. The site does not require registration and does not use advertising. There’s no limit on file sizes and you can even browse some art while you wait! The recipient can preview files without downloading and they remain accessible for seven days. This service is available on mobile, too.
A smashing file share service
Smash has very few downsides, expect of course that there are many competitors which are already established. Some may find the site a little too minimalist and prefer more instructions. However, this is a very quick and easy way to do the job.
